Galvanized steel plate water tanks are widely used in daily life. The outer layer of these water tanks is treated with galvanizing, which has stronger anti rust ability than ordinary steel plates and is cheaper than stainless steel water tanks. They are suitable for situations where cost control is needed and durability is required. It can often be seen in building water supply systems, such as multi story residential buildings, office buildings, and school dormitories.

This type of building has low floors and moderate water pressure requirements. Galvanized steel plate water tanks are installed on the roof or basement, and are matched with water pumps to achieve stable water supply. During the renovation of some old residential areas, the concrete water tank cracks and leaks. Replacing it with a galvanized steel plate water tank is both lightweight and easy to maintain. When the construction team is working on a secondary water supply project, they often choose this type of water tank as a transitional solution, which has a fast installation speed and can be flexibly adjusted in the later stage.

The agricultural irrigation field requires a large amount of water. Orchard and vegetable base require water storage, and the capacity of galvanized steel plate water tanks can be customized from a few tons to tens of tons. In arid northern regions, farmers install such water tanks at the edge of their fields to collect rainwater and use drip irrigation equipment to irrigate crops. The breeding farm uses it to store water for livestock to drink, and regularly cleaning the inner wall of
the water tank can maintain hygiene. In some remote areas, after drilling a well to collect water, a water tank is directly installed next to the wellhead for storage, without the need for complex water treatment equipment.

In industrial production, this type of water tank is commonly used in cooling water circulation systems. The water tank used to cool down the equipment in the machining workshop and the process water stored in the electroplating plant can effectively prevent corrosion of the galvanized layer as long as the water quality does not contain strong acids or alkalis. The auto repair shop installs a water tank above the car washing station, which uses gravity to automatically replenish water. It is stronger than plastic water tanks and cheaper than stainless steel water tanks. Food processing plants occasionally use it to temporarily store cleaning water, but the contact with food is replaced with higher standard materials.
